Allie Rout goes Senior
Allie Rout competed in her first ISU competition in Senior at the
Winter Games NZ in Dunedin in her pursuit for Olympic selection.
Allie gave up an almost certain gold medal win in Junior to take
4th in Senior in an effort to boost her world rankings and starting
position when she competes at the Olympic-qualifying Nebelhorn
Trophy in Oberstdorf, Germany later this month. Allie was too young
to attempt selection at the World Championships earlier this year
and will be competing against a strong group of young skaters and
seasoned veterans for the few remaining Olympic berths. Go Allie!
